Graaff-Reinet Weather All Year Round
Graaff-Reinet being located between rivers is far greener than the surrounding areas giving the impression that it rains on a regular basis while the opposite is true. Graaff-Reinet is quite hot during summer time with temperatures reaching 35 degrees Celsius and above with very little rainfall and a low humidity. Weather In Graaff-Reinet And When To Visit
The weather in Graaff-Reinet is mostly dry receiving only about 400mm rain a year. The rainfall is mostly in summer leaving the winter months completely dry. In summer time the temperature may often go above 35 degrees Celsius, but because of the low humidity you won’t feel the heat as much. In winter months the temperature drops to the low twenties, thus making this a better time to make your trip to Graaff-Reinet. At night time it cools down quite a bit allowing you to sleep peacefully. Sun block is advised all year round as the sun is always shinning with no clouds to protect you. With good weather all year round, it is certainly the place to visit.
