Orangewood Lodge is situated on the banks of Albert Falls Dam at the entrance to Khayalami Bay and boasts spectacular views of the dam. We are only 25 minutes from Pierermaritzburg and 30 minutes from Howick. The Lodge is nestled in a large indigenous garden with an abundance of birdlife and is surrounded by orange groves which form part of an operating citrus farm.
We have 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 people. The main room is en suite and has a queen bed . The second room has a double and a cot. The upstairs bedroom has two twin beds and the loft room has two single beds and a double bunk bed.
The double volume open plan lounge and dining room lead onto a large verandah with seating and dining areas. The pub also leads onto the verandah and outside braai facility.
DSTV is provided and the lodge is serviced daily.
Albert Falls dam is the major attraction where water skiing, fishing, canoeing, birding, game viewing and walking are offered. Mountain biking is also a popular weekend sport.
